Upgrading the EU Data Protection sector with new skills - International Conference (ZOOM Event) on 25th February 2021 @14.00-16:30 CET
IHF asbl and its partners are glad to invite you to the virtual International Conference of the project DataPRO-Upgrading the EU Data Protection Sector with new Skills, which will take place on Thursday, 25th of February 2021 at 14:00-16:30pm CET via zoom.
DataPRO project, which has been implemented since September 2018 and is going to be completed by early March 2021, is addressed to businesses and professionals who are interested or work in the field of Data Protection (DPO Officers). It aims at upgrading the skills needed in the sector after the entry of GDPR 2016/679 into force and responding to the fragmented certification system of the participating countries, reinforcing, thus, staff mobility within Europe. The project is being implemented by a consortium of 10 organizations based on a partnership of public authorities and private sector, under the coordination of the Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce.
DataPRO partners and their invited speakers coming from public organizations, institutions and the market, will discuss on the needs, the challenges and the current status of businesses’ compliance with the GDPR and the introduction of new detection mechanisms and tools, focusing on SMEs. The partners will also present the results of the project as well as the training platform which was developed to customize DPO Officers’ training needs and the outcomes of the Work Based Learning Scheme.
